Our Pirate Adventure

Since McCoy's graduation I have tried doing a little class on our own for the kids so McCoy has an easier day. He loved being in school and I found that it was easier if we did our own class each day. This weeks letter was the letter "G," so we decided after the lesson we would go on a pirate adventure looking for GOLD. The kids wore pirate hats Papa made for them, and swords for their adventure.

They looked pretty cute wondering around looking for the treasure. Our map showed that we had to pass through obsticles in our way. The first was at the forbidden forest, (bushes by the house), there they had to turn three times to pass. Then it was the handman's noose, (basketball hoop) where they had to jump high 5 times. They we had to circle the big tree singing, "Yo Ho Yo Ho!" Adie said, "Yo Yo Ho!" It was pretty cute. Then we had to go in the cave of wonders, (under the swing set), and then finally we found the treasure chest.

Parlay Paisley and her comandeer hat!

Adie prepared for the adventure!
